The post we all need! Not more gift guides! I find overstimulation is my trigger--and making sure I have enough quiet alone time.

Me too, Nina -- I was just talking to some colleagues, and they told me about a holiday party someone was throwing where they were going all out (hiring a bartender, etc.). I was like, who has the energy for that?? Love that for them, but not for me.

Love this, Dr. Lucy. I'm a fan of de-alcoholized wine and one brand that really stands out (not sponcon, just realness) is NOOH's rose (both the still and sparkling). It's pretty close to the real stuff, sans the toxins (you know, those things everyone is on fire about). Do not do Ariel; just get pomegranate juice instead. Harmless Coconut Water looks festive and could pass for a cocktail in a martini glass (if you really want to fake it), plus it's yummy and hydrating. I also like Leitz's zero proof pinot noir. The New Bar sells online, but there's a big trend toward zero-proof "liquor" stores, so see what might be near you. But, if you do overindulge (accidentally or on purpose), be sure to get some Earth's Best Organic Electrolyte Solution in apple citrus. Pedialyte is awful. So is Gatorade (and I dare you to try to find orange on Instacart when you need it). This is effective and delightful. I take it with me to the desert whenever I go (I dehydrate easily). It's in the toddler aisle of Whole Foods. While you're there, get some Lara bars to toss in your party clutch. No chocolate coating to worry about melting and a nice snack to have. LOL. xo
