I grew up in an alcoholic home and made the choice to not drink when I noticed that when I drank I would sometimes drink too much and with the our family history I knew it was the best decision for me and my family. My husband had an alcoholic dad so we have been extremely honest with our children and tried to educate them. Thank you for another great newsletter on how we can be healthier in mind, body and soul.

Dry January is always a welcome reset for me. Your points are helpful and also presented in a way that isn't all or nothing, unlike so many other resources. Thank you!

I drink alcohol when I want to escape some thoughts or feel very light, so I don’t consume so much but lately it seems like it’s becoming a regular (even though I just lace my yoghurt with it). I know what to do now.
